  • The King is Quite the Celebrity!!!

I follow Jeff Richgels (Riggs) column on a regular basis, and his insight about the USBC Open is always very beneficial. Jeff is a Regional player who used to bowl on the Professional Tour. He writes a column on bowling for Madison.com (Wisconsin). He is a USBC Hall of Fame inductee under the category "Performance". He always offers his comments on the lane pattern for the upcoming Open, and noting how he believes the pattern will play every year. He often quotes other individuals to offer other informed opinions. In his first column about lane pattern for 2012, he quotes the King as follows:
Proprietor, excellent bowler and lane guru Jerry Kessler, who bowls on Ken Duffield's team this year, said on my Facebook page that he thought the 2012 pattern may favor power players, and that the 34-foot starting point for the drop brush/reverse oil might make the pattern play tighter than last year.
