G'day Jerry, hey mate can you gimme some ideas with how to tweak this patetrn , we can't really see mouch wrong with it othe than the bowlers can't handle oil in the heads, we used to run easy street but when we had Terry out here last year from Kegel , under a microscope the lanes were getting flogged so we upped the oil anyway here is what we run...
Oil distance is 39', Reverse drop brush 35',Reverse oil 33', 50uL total oil 18.45 ml
Forgive my inquisitiveness! Pin-head: what do you mean by "the bowlers can't handle oil in the heads?"
King: Does your pattern meet the USBC 3 unit rule?

That\'s ok Popeye, we used to run easy street, but Terry from Kegel and Graeme Rose from Cybernetic were at my centre last year and were saying after looking with microscope that with all the reactive balls easy street was chewing up the 8-10 board area up to the arrows, so we added a 2-2 on the reverse and changed the forward 10-10 to a 8-8 and now they say there is "too much oil" simply because they are not bowling telephone numbers anymore. When I watch the "higher average" bowlers 215+ they bowl fine and have good back end reaction, trouble is most want to see gutter to gutter swing....

Hey Pin_head,
The pattern King gave you is a good pattern. I don't know if you want to make such a drastic change all at once. This has way less oil on the outsides which will give you the more outside reaction. It has more oil in the aprox. 10-10 area and maybe more oil at the end of travel. If you think your pattern has any redeeming value then I would just make subtle changes to what you already have. Try removing one of your forward 2-2's, change the rbd to 32. make sure to compensate the reverse loads with the new rbd distance. Maybe add an 8-8 on the reverse. A good rule to follow for making changes is let your bowlers see the same thing for at least 2-3 weeks. Sometimes the best thing you can do is try to maintain consistency and let your bowlers learn. BTW What oil unit rule do you have to comply with?

Good morning, I have built a tester for the MP Chassis for the 82-70 machines. Instead of using the cam switches I am using relays. My question is to anyone that may...
Is anyone running the solderless relays on the accelerators? How do you like them? What brand? How difficult to convert was it? Would love the feed back as I'm about to switch...
