What usually happens to a pattern after changing the buffer brush and resetting crush? Does the outsides get oilier?

Depends how old or bad the other one was. Usually oilier over all for a few weeks, that why the july change is best.

I found when we changed buffer brush and transfer brush it was a little oilier but overall I think it was just a more even consistent oil pattern...thats why our leagues here in Australia usually finish up early December and come back end of January, I change my buffer brush 1st day after the last league bowls for the year, gives it like 4-5 weeks for it to bed in and settle down...

Is there any difference in removal of buffer brush for replacement between the transfer brush and roller type oil transfer systems?
