  • Prodigy vs Navigate

I see that alot of you in the Midwest and East use Prodigy Lane Conditioner... How well does it play on ProLane? Carrydown?
We currently use Navigate and it seems to move alot.
Guess what?! I got a fever, and the only prescription... is more cowbell!

Navigate is a touch "slicker" so the carry down can be a little more noticeable than with Prodigy. Logic also works well on Prolane
Conditioner: Pantene Pro-V Brunette Expressions with Color Enhancer
Cleaner: Fabuloso Spring Fresh with Bleach Alternative
      Cloth: ShamWow!
      Machine: Johnny 5
Surface: Melamine-impregnated, phenolic-treated, high pressure pressed craft paper

We used to use Logic, but with the new Walker, we are obligated to use Kegel conditioner to extend the warranty. We might give Prodigy a try.

Out of the Kegel oils, Prodigy would be the best choice, Navigate a very close second.

Prodigy is a good oil on low friction surfaces. In fact, I've used it on wood with moisture cure urethane until the heads blew out with good success. It is easy to tweak and causes fewer machine and spotting issues than most oils.

I quit using Prodigy in both places that I had a choice.
First place had a problem with the balls feeling slimey after just a few frames, and my ball calls more than doubled with all the yo-yo's. Went down to a reasonable number after switching to Infinity.
Second place was more of the same, but not quite as many ball calls because of it. Still too many, but went down significantly after changing to Brunswick Command
You don't have to be crazy to do this job...But it helps!
