I also use a pad machine on Murrey Lanes, and I find 40 ft. to be too short for a house pattern. Mine are in the 41-43 range, with my current one at 42. I would try your same pattern at at different lengths before tweaking the pattern. JMO.

I ran this pattern tonight and anything outside 7 wouldn't come back but a very smooth shot down second arrow. Why do you have the spray shutting off at 46 feet? I'm going to try it again tomorrow after adjusting the spray jets more towards the outside. Thanks King it's better than what I had.

I would agree with the smooth shot down second arrow..

Above is the modification of the pattern I ran tonight. Only Change I made was the return shift to 2nd speed by 1 foot. We had 2 series over 730 on a league that may have 5 700's all year.

I put out the exact recommended pattern before league and threw on it, I could have made it work for me, but 75% of my league bowlers would have been 2-8-10 all night. It was significantly oiler than I needed for this league.
After league with the one modification, I was told by several people they didn't even have to move a board tonight.. Less transition should equal higher scores..

Again, Thank you King and everyone else for your input..
