King's Challenge 50mic

Hi Jerry,

We've switched over completely to the 'King's Challenge' as our standard house pattern. The men are getting use to it now after a whole year on the old (somewhat illegal) shot.


The question,
The pattern you sent me is a 60mic. My ION Sport is set for 50mic.
How is that effecting the shot?
The ION tried to compensate by adjusting itself to 55mic

Welcome - let me know how they play!

It's really hard to tell. There has been no bowling center in this area for years. Some bowl well some not so much. I'm still trying to meet all the bowlers and see who's best to watch. Although, the league's average has rebounded from the change to your pattern. Breakdown/drying out in the third game was the common complaint. Two had their first 8, but no 300s. This is the third week on this pattern, I did get the reverse load correction in the machine before they bowled tonight. I'll let you know how the scores are.

I'm happy the lanes are protected and the shot makes them happy too.

How can I add one foot to the pattern? The crankers are hooking brooklyn 1st-mid 2nd game. Asked me for 41'

Second week on the 41' King's Challenge. We had a handful of 680s and a few 720s. Two of my bowlers had their first 7 in the second game.
