  • New to me Phoenix-S model B

Found a phoenix-s model b and bought it so now I'm needing all kinds of input. Wood lanes screened in August. What kind of oil and cleaner should I try along with a starting pattern. Thanks in advance.

All depends on how strong your bowlers are

What makes and easy shot for your bowlers - swing area - or hold area

I would set the pump for a 50 mic stream

    Oil - Kegel Infinity
Cleaner - Kegel CX4 - 12 oz. (3 caps) in 2.5 gallon jug fill with water

    41 foot pattern
    19.9 total volume

    2-2 2 18
    8-8 2 18
    10-10 5 18
    12-12 4 22
    2-2 0 22 32-41'

    2-2 0 30 41-26'
    12-12 1 22
    11-11 2 18
    9-9 2 18
    2-2 0 18 12-0'

First night scores were pretty good a few didn't want to move. I think it will improve.

Good deal - let them get accustomed to it

Good scores last night by a few but the back ends were flying I'm going to add a foot to the pattern to tame down the backends. Is there any extra maintence/cleaning with the rollers after or before oiling?

          4:1 Timing off..

          *sigh* Hello friends..

I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

Adapting the Bluffton end cap & terminal board kit to Franklin BE (and FE) motors.

Left a rant about this in the bowling forum…

I’ve already repaired a a number of Franklin FE motors using the Bluffton-style end cap and terminal board kit (090-004-582)....

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
