Help with HPL's

I have about 12 year HPL's and just started this oiling job at the beginning of the winter leagues so i am trying to learn this as i go along. Im getting better at pattern tweaks but I just can't quite get it figured out. I am using a Kustodion Ion B, Prodigy oil and defense-c cleaner. My down and in bowlers struggle getting to the pocket to start and then by the end of game 1 the carry down is so bad they can barely get to the head pin. For the other players the only complaint is the carry down is a little much. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Your pattern - I cannot believe it works on HPL

In my opinion Prodigy is too light for that surface

I would check the oil pump volume

The reason for all the carry down - all the slow speeds is just dumping oil in the head area - and the balls are getting huge oil rings - then depositing that oil down lane

Thanks. Next league is Wednesday I will try it then and let you know how it plays. What oil would you recommend? i have been thinking about trying Infinity this summer. I dont really want to do anything too drastic for the winter leagues.

I would not change oil immediately...lets see how this tweak plays out

What kind of ball return system in your 70's?

Kickers - PBL?

Ball return up front? - power lift?

You need to be careful with 70's because the wrong oil can cause issues

If Prodigy carries down too much, look out for Infinity.
