  • Need an nice easy to moderate pattern

    Hi Jerry,
What would be an ideal pattern to set up in the centre I have taken over as H/T in, the machine they have is a Crossfire using W22 oil, Defence C cleaner, lanes are B/Wick ProLane, at the moment there is no league there just social, but we are trying to develope leagues there and would like a nice easy to medium pattern just for the guys starting out, to attract new league bowlers I kinda don't want them thinking it's some sort of sport house if ya get what I mean....

Again as awlays Jerry many many thanks in advance......

    Cheers Brett....

    2nd speed - 8'
    High speed - 40'
    Total distance 40'
    Pad 1 - 36"
    Pad 2 - 100"
    Pad 3 - 31'
    Pad 4 - 34'

    Reverse
    2nd - 30
    low - 16
    Pad 1 - 0"
    Pad 2 - 60"
    Pad 3 - 30'
    Pad 4 - 30'

I think Crossfires are 3 speeds

Let me know if it needs a tweak!

We are indeed thank you kind sir, I am looking forward to trying that pattern in the Crossfire, never used one before as I have been given control of a 2nd centre, so now I have 46 XLi's, very happy though I still have my Walker at my big centre....

Ok a couple questions: 1. Where should i drop the brush
                    On the reverse?
                    2. With my machine, i cant have the 3rd speed forward
The same no. As the pattern length so is this a 42' or 43'
                    Pattern?
                    3. My machine came (cleaning wise) preloaded as 4/10 and
Every 30" but i changed my no. To clean like your no., my
Question is which is a better clean if i cant see or feel the
                    Difference after a test clean?

                      Set the RBD to 36'

Pattern length is 42 - so set the high speed to 43

4/10 and 30 inches always pushed too much cleaner off the tail plank

If you mix your cleaner correct at 5 or 6 to 1 then you do not need that much cleaner

                        HI Jerry,
Could you come up with a slight tweak to get a similar result, as a Head Tech at a sister centre also with a Crossfire loves the pattern you gave me but he said his Crossfire only has the 3 pad zones not 4. So with that in mind could you come up with something very similar to what you gave me but with 3 zones instead.

                          3 pads each side

You can upgrade to 8 pads

This is the 3 pad zone pattern - did they try this one?

                          2nd speed - 8'
                          High speed - 42'
                          Total distance 42'
                          Pad 1 - 36"
                          Pad 2 - 100"
                          Pad 3 - 33'

                          Reverse
                          2nd - 30
                          low - 16
                          Pad 1 - 0"
                          Pad 2 - 60"
                          Pad 3 - 33'

I think they will be upgrading to 4 pad zones like my centre has, that previous pattern was actually for me Jerry as I run 2 centre's now one with a Walker and other with Crossfire but mine has 4 pads zones. I will give that new one to them and let you know how they go, again thank you kindly my friend!!

                              Pad 4 - 36'

                              Reverse
                              2nd - 30

                              Pad 4 - 36'

The extra pad is broken at 15-20 board spot I believe
