phoenix s starting oil 3ft after foul line?
Ok heres my question. I work in a smaller center with a lot of open bowling. Many of our customers are first timers and tend to pass the foul line and bust their hind end. My manager thinks it would be a good idea to start the pattern like 5ft out id be happy with three. Is there an easy way to do that without affecting the current program my leagues are all happy with the current shot I just wanna basically cut out the first 3ft.Tags: None

If I am correct, AMF controlled operations are required to keep the first 18 inches from the foul line stripped and cleaned -- their lane machines are programmed for this also.
As for doing this with the PhoenixS, it's been a while since playing with one but you should be able to adjust (SUBTRACT) the travel distance of the program then place/start the machine that same amount down the lane instead of at the foul line. But someone else has probably got all that figured out and when they wake up and read this should be able to give the quick instructions for it.

My foul lights are always on they do work . We have signs everywhere warning customers that it's slippery past the foul line , but people are people. Its not my idea to do this its wat my manager wants. That being said im asking for help on how to do this not why I shouldn't. Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated.

4:1 Timing off..
*sigh* Hello friends..
I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

Adapting the Bluffton end cap & terminal board kit to Franklin BE (and FE) motors.
Left a rant about this in the bowling forum…
I’ve already repaired a a number of Franklin FE motors using the Bluffton-style end cap and terminal board kit (090-004-582)....

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
Thanks...
