  • Kustodian 9a blowing fuses....help ?

Our kustdoian 9a started blowing fuses. Especially speed control 1 and 2. I changed the fuses check the motor and all the wiring. All seems all right.
It blows fuses even when I just try reverse drive and lower speeds outputs. If you guys have any ideas why it does that just let me now. I already checked similar problems on other forums and tried everything and it's still the same. Maybe i'm missing something ? thanks in advance for your help.

What about the brushes in the motor sounds like carbon ground buildup

What did you check with the motor? Did you remove the brushes and look for signs of oil inside and the overall condition of the brushes themselves?

No experience with this machine but from an electrical standpoint, check continuity of the power leads between each other, (maybe someone could check a good machine and post it's ohm value), check leads to ground to see if it is shorted, and may want to install a resettable fuse so you don't keep wasting fuses ??? in addition to what KB & KG indicated.

Found this, don't know if it applies to your machine.

            hi guys.
thank you for all the help but the problem remains. I checked the motor and the brushes (brushes seems okay) and tried to clean the inside of motor as best as i could. But the problem wont go away. The only thing that remains is that i check all the electrical components and their ohm value. I will try to find all irregularities and if i find a problem and hopefully also a solution i will let you know.
            thanks again.
