  • Kustodian+ Cleaner Tank

My Kustodian has developed a leak near the cap of the cleaner tank for the second time.
The first time, I was able to heat the glue that secures the fitting to the tank. This time, I can't get it to seal.

I don't think silicone will work, I don't think it will stick to the plastic very well. Any suggestions on a glue that you could heat and blend in?
Guess what?! I got a fever, and the only prescription... is more cowbell!

Wouldn't some 2 part epoxy work?

Yes the silicone will work, I did the routine maintenance on our machine and had to clean out the filter. Just give it 24 hours to set.

I have always kept an extra tank as it is a PITA trying to patch one and most of the time you notice it when you need it not when your done.

Yes, after paying for the first one overnight and on a Saturday delivery due to a tournament I will not go with out an extra one again.

                      Re: Kustodian+ Cleaner Tank

How did the tank crack? I have been working for a short period of time as a mechanic (6 years) and have never heard of one cracking. Was it old or was it dropped or damaged by someone? Just curious.
