applying basecoat and topcoat to wood lanes
i have stripped all my lanes down to the bare wood wich i have never done before i have screened and coated them quite a few times but this is firat time i have completely stripped them down to bare wood ! i was wondering if i should use a sealer before i pull my astrolane 100 basecoat on lanes or if the astrolane 100 basecoat will be a sufficient sealer ?Tags: None

Bushy, I cannot speak for Brunswick lane finish. But our 100% solids base can be applied over "stain" a/k/a sealer. 100% solids base will seal the lane, that's what we used before stain became popular. In my opinion apply stain, 100% solids base, then a good top coat. That's the best finish system going today.Cliff Adair

Adapting the Bluffton end cap & terminal board kit to Franklin BE (and FE) motors.
Left a rant about this in the bowling forum…

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
Thanks...
