        His profile says pro lane

Question - did they take up panels and re shim them?

If so did they use silicone sealer on the joints?

If they used silicone did the tape each side of the joint?

we didnt take the panels up we raised them up just enought to get the shim paper under them we didnt do any reshimming around the joints and this problem was like this before we even did the re shim it only looks orange peeling in the heads of the lanes the rest of the lane look good

Was this always like this? How old are the lanes? I have heard of different versions having different friction. Older prolane was obviously smoother and the new is more hooking. I have heard that the warehouses mixed them up and places got a mixture or old and new. (just a thought, this was a few years ago)

the lanes were put in in 2000 and they have not always been this way they have been this way for about a year

When is the last time you changed the buffer brush? Ours looked kinda like that at the end of the pattern but after changing brushes the pattern is much more crisp.

Did someone try a coating, or buffing with abrasive on the ones that are different color? Polychem had a finish and finish remover they tried for synthetic lanes, although the USBC says 'no finish on synthetic lanes'.
Did you get a friction sled with the lanes? Although primitive, it was accurate in the right hands to check the un-oiled surface.

Have you done a test clean to see if you're not leaving cleaner on the lanes. Oil applied over lanes cleaner has that look, nor does it adhere to the lanes surface, which would cause them to hook.
