How many award scores at your house?

Just for comparison how many award scores do you have. And how many lanes?

21 scores - includes 298, 299, 300, 800.

Well...our center....not much

Opened 1964...24 lanes

800's - 1
298's - 1
299's - 6
300's - 9

So as you can see....not much here

A 299 was shot in 1967 I've been told, and that was the State record until 1988...our first 300

The 800 was a 801 in 1996

This place is a Graveyard....We had a 290 shot last night, ringing 7 first frame!!

We have 66 lanes here. 31 scores

800 7

But we have some of the best bowlers in town [img]/content/btubb/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif[/img]
or should I say we have one of best lane men around.

Boring, Boring...
The only persons in our house that didn't shoot a 300 is me, myself and I( and I'm allso the laneman).
We had our first 300 in 1962, that was a real happening. Now if someone is throwing a perfect, other people don't even look anymore.
Yeah, it realy must be the bowlers that became better......?????

So far this season:

18 -- 300's
4 -- 800's ( 1 female )
We don't count 700's anymore, but last Monday during a 24 X 5 league we had two 3's and 17 7's. Seven of the seventeen were fat.
48 wood lanes, S. B. M. and Reactor oil.

Since we opened in 1981:

300 - 24 (2 women)
800 - 3
299 - 10
298 - 2

20 lanes..wood..worn out!!!!

Hey King, Those are pretty low numbers considering you put out a illegal shot. Have you tried drilling out the pins to make them top heavy or setting them way off spot for better pin carry? Try putting bleach on strait alcohol in the outside oil tanks or lay down some fishing line on the back end and watch those numbers go way up. :p

This woulkd be just a guess but a pretty close one...


7 -800's.....I think 847 was highso far this year
25 to 30 300's.
I have no clue how many 299's etc there were

"0" "Goose egg", Honor Scores so far this year. Took the wall out and have found without the Ray Charles shoot no one is as good as they thought they were. Some bitching has insued but also found that some of the Bowlers appreciate the more challenging condition. Must admit though my lane machine has gone through a number of transitions over these first three months. Wick changes, tank heater added and so forth. Slow pushing the hold area back down the lane. I guess my love of the sport makes it hard for me to appreciate being rewarded for every ball that hits the lane no matter how badly it's thrown. Last year there were 12 honor scores in the house (5 of which were mine, 2 300's 3 800,s). So right now I think I'm ranking just under Usama Bin Laden in a few of our bowlers minds. But I'll get it back to where they can have their make beleive averages back sooner or later.But to my own testament, start at this house three weeks before the season started, and the amount of work I have had to do to get the calls down to under 10 a night most nights is to massive to list here.
