We were resurfacing out 12 laner. Just started to pull the finish on lane 1. Had the door to the outside open next to lane 12. A stray dog came in and started across the lanes.....he got to lane 6 before we turned him around. Talk about ready to freak!

Alright, I don't want to be morbid, but...

About 15 years ago, our local resurfacing crew came in to resurface. An older, local proprietor from the panhandle, arranged to meet the crew so he could learn how to resurface on his own.

So, after turning the 'oil-out' on the heads at about Midnight, the crew Iand this proprietor)laid down for a few winks.

At about 6am, they awoke to finish the job and couldn't wake up the proprietor, so they let him sleep(they say he was snoring at the time). When our cleaning lady came in (who was pretty decent looking), the crew asked her to wake up the proprietor, since that would be a better choice than one of the guys. She tried for a few moments, then got distracted, then forgot. Well, the female bookkeeper comes in, asks the cleaning lady who the guy is sleeping on the floor and she then explains that he was sleeping. The bookkeeper go over to try and wake him up and screams "Oh my God, he's dead!" [img]/content/btubb/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif[/img]

It was determined that the fellow had a heart condition and died of natural causes in his sleep. [img]/content/btubb/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img]

Ironically, the cleaning lady vacuumed around him.

Yes, we have had 'strange' occurrences since then.

Sanded a place that had a resident cat and after we stripped and leveled we spred absorbol and left for the day. The next morning we found out the cat was delighted with the new huge catbox we had provided. Cat was locked in the utility room when we pulled finish!
