  • seriously o-o-d pins

Just thought I would see what people had to think of this.

Our centre is using the amflite II bowling pin. Our current set has been in use since Aug 2008!! We originally had enough to swap all 30 lanes each month but more and more began to develop dead spots. As a department we have decided that the only way to keep enough pins for all 30 lanes is to replace old and worn pins as an when is necessary.

We began buying in boxes each month and managed to get enough for 6 lanes worth. We havent started using them as we dont really see the point in only 1/5 of the lanes having new pins.

Has anyone else had to deal with anything this ridiculous? We are a bowling centre, we need pins for people to bowl at!

Put all the new ones in an area that has the least amount of league for a couple month (if possible) then you have the rest for spares. The new ones mixed in with old ones is no good.

Buy one box of Twisters per month...they last years.....and are better than broken wood pins

        4:1 Timing off..

I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
