  • No Slide Pin Spot

Hi does anyone know where I can get any no-slide pin spots in the UK?

You can try a document laminating product that has adhesive on one side. Round the front edge so the lane machine squeege has less surface contact at one time.

Don't do it!!! I've used these and had really poor results. Just keep your pin deck clean. You wont need to spend money on a product that after time will warp and start dropping pins. Not to mention that if your oil machine goes into the pit, those little circles will eat up your squeegee. But who am i to tell you what is best for your center. Good luck!

My advice is to not use them

Get the taper on the lane pattern correct and get your machine cleaning you will not have sliding pins!

Sliding pins suck, but I was always worried spot stickers would tear up the squeegee on the lane machine.
I try to run a clean only pass on 1 pair of lanes each week just to double check how well the machine strips the lane. Keeping a crisp edge on the squeegee is key to drying the surface quickly.
Anyone using stickers see extra wear on the lane machine cleaning system?

With AMF machines, it's not really a big deal if the carpet gets a little wet, so an extra couple squirts of lane cleaner from a spray bottle helped me a little. I wanted to extend cleaner farther than the machine would allow. For some reason mashers don't like any spillage on the shaker.
Running the pins though a pin lathe, washing pins, extra attention to clean decks..... and they still slide! .... I feel your pain.

Please elaberate...We are using stonestreet...Would the taper adjustment be with the drop brush, or something else. Machine is cleaning perfect. Sliding pins are out of control. Thanks in advance.

Pinfeed, check that the duster cloth is running to the back of the deck.(it does 90% of the cleaning) Mine was lifting too soon, by the 4-5-6-spots. The squeege won't clean good enough on its own. When most do a test clean they just check the lane. I climbed in the pit with a flashlight and had the machine run, watch the duster on the deck.

Rivmike, Confirmed today that Yes, duster is down through the entire pindeck. Thanks for mentioning this though, as I wouldn't have known to look there. Do you know anything about the pattern taper adjustment that King mentioned earlier?

                        Good morning,
I have built a tester for the MP Chassis for the 82-70 machines. Instead of using the cam switches
I am using relays. My question is to anyone that may...
