one thought is that it maybe something within a ground loop in the audio signal. he have rca cables running to powered speakers that the ground or the shielding in the cables is messed up in some way that we get a constant buzz through our speakers.

this can happen if your speakers are cheap crap. usually its feedback from a bad connection somewhere. If you can isolate those speakers to a different soundboard or try a different port it would be a good step in finding out where to look next. Also make sure one of your "DJ"s didn't tune the system to make it sound better for lightshow bowling.When you know what to do, everything is easy.
