Strike effects for cosmic bowling
We used to have our rope lighting along the gutter capping but it tended to get beat up, broken and ruined. I relocated it around the masking units and have been working on tying it in to the strike light on the mask unit. Currently it works but once the coil in the relay is energized it keeps the strike light circuit open. Used an led to eliminate the 'feedback' and it worked a few times before the led crapped out so I'm guessing I just need a right sized diode to finish my circuit. Here is a sample of me throwing a strike. Once complete the rope lighting will be on for the duration of bowling and either switch to blinking or blinking faster for a strike.
Failed safety course.Question #1:In case of fire what steps do you take? Apparently 'Friggin long ones!" is the wrong answer.Tags: None

I just took a spot relay and tapped into the strike light in the mask unit. Jump the strike light wires to the coil wires of the relay. Used the switching side to change power to the rope lighting. I'll draw up a schematic and take some pics when I get around to polishing it up.Failed safety course.Question #1:In case of fire what steps do you take? 4:1 Timing off..
*sigh* Hello friends..
I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

Adapting the Bluffton end cap & terminal board kit to Franklin BE (and FE) motors.
Left a rant about this in the bowling forum…
I’ve already repaired a a number of Franklin FE motors using the Bluffton-style end cap and terminal board kit (090-004-582)....

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
Thanks...
