  • FrameWorks Hoods

    Hey Guys,

Does anyone have a sure fire method of cleaning the hood of a FrameWorks ball return. I am generally talking about shoe scuffs. If so would you pass along that information. Id like to clean them up before fall leagues start.

    Thanks,

    Dave

T-Cut to restore the colour and a multi surface polish to bring the shine back, brings up the exit assemblies and blower housings good too.

Looking at the website it may just be a UK product?

But there must be a US equivelant.

Just Googled it and Turtle Wax came up as similar.

We ended up painting our hoods. The paint was a 2 part paint/hardener that turned pretty much into plastic after 24-48 hours. Its been holding up pretty good, but they havent gone through a fall season yet, so time will tell.

I really dont want to paint them. Rather stay as original as I can here. I bought some plastic polish and will try that!

We use magic eraser white pad and a little glass cleaner.

                    Works good for us
Go with what works and not what the book says.

I went thru mine (sure-pik hoods) but similar coating. Rubbing compund with a dual head buffer. Then regular old wax-on wax-off routine.
Failed safety course.Question #1:In case of fire what steps do you take? Apparently 'Friggin long ones!" is the wrong answer.

All we used was degreaser and green scrubbing pad and it worked great.

Magic eraser was my thought as well.
