What cushion cover do you like to use and why? Original AMF, 6 hole, Velcro, make your own.....
We have been using the AMF one and they seem to fray and wear quickly. We inherited a home made 6 hole cover that is well used but still in great shape made out of what looks like an old curtain. I like this idea and may start doing it. I like how the bottom rivets are not exposed to ball impacts so they would last longer and since balls can't touch them there are no issues with balls sticking to them, plus, if you use a thick enough material like an old curtain or carpet I think they would last longer than the AMF ones.
What is everyone's thoughts on this subject...I'm very curious to know.
I make my own from the old vantage premium carpet that the splice would crack out. I didn't know about leaving the bottom row under the facing until I talked to Jamie at Stahl's about a month ago. ( asking about the velcro facing )
We use the AMF velcro ones here and have has no real dramas with them, but I guess this topic is one of those age old ones that "to each his own".... I just really like the visual appeal of the Velcro covers..
AS REQUESTED....The all new and VERY improved "super cool" Pin_Head with super hip shades.....
I use the velcro facing, super rivets the urethane one brake half the time assembling the cushion. Vantage or EBN facing, Vantage rubber that eliminates the sponge that always squeezes out. Vantage curtain, plastic universal cushion instead of the wood. Also the spacer between the cushion and frame like on an 82-30. Lastly grade 8 hardware.
I found that after I filed down the edges of the hole on the tool to pull the rivets through which made nice round edges we dont' break anymore rivets, I found that it was the tool itself causing the rivets to snap.

Without the foam sponge I feel there is more abuse on everything.
Good morning, I have built a tester for the MP Chassis for the 82-70 machines. Instead of using the cam switches I am using relays. My question is to anyone that may...
Is anyone running the solderless relays on the accelerators? How do you like them? What brand? How difficult to convert was it? Would love the feed back as I'm about to switch...
Working...
