    I was just wondering where the back support post height should be

    not have an exact distance, must be level and have little patience after you fall to see how the pins of the wheel

      You'll have to guage the distributor height off the bin at the bolt head for the bin switch. It should have maybe a 1/4" clearance. The back slots mounting it on the elevator frame are primarily for leveling the dizzy. Take off the springs and see if it favors one side. It shouldn't.

        All the leveling is fine nothing thats to bad just been wondering
        Ill check to make sure it has the right clearance.

          If it needs raised, the back end could have been installed too low. The clearance is raised by adding washers to the bottom of the mount arm where it hooks to the crossbeam. (2 1/4" bolts)

            4:1 Timing off..

            *sigh* Hello friends..

            I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....
             

            Adapting the Bluffton end cap & terminal board kit to Franklin BE (and FE) motors.

            I’ve already repaired a a number of Franklin FE motors using the Bluffton-style end cap and terminal board kit (090-004-582)....
