    We all have them in both kickbacks and I've always wondered why its there...

        It would have been nice if they had put those holes in the front half of all the metal kicks instead of some to get to the nuts in those pesky front bolts to lock down the diamond plate.

            If you have extremely narrow kickbacks that also gives you some room to get the belts off and on during ball lift maintenance.

            I never wondered why they were there I was just glad they are.
            Sometimes we have to do stuff to get by....Just go back and do it right when the "by" has passed!!

              I have a couple of machines with no holes at all.
              If it cant be fixed with a hammer, use a bowling pin.

                  I believe a few of my machines are from Japan or China because the wireway cover has a sticker written in one of those languages.
