Is there a proper torque for the center bolt on the table drive assembly/
    I can't even spell Brunsw-ick anymore!!!

I put the assembly in a vise. As I turn the cam I will tighten the bolt to wheres theres just a little drag. I then tighten nut while holding bolt, being sure not to move nut.
If it cant be fixed with a hammer, use a bowling pin.

I tighten until it does not turn reel free to set the bearing in the race...then i back off until it turns free....then I torque the jam nut on back as tight as possible - recheck for free movement!

Tighten as tight as possible.. over tightening should yield free movement if correct parts being used. Similar to how people omit the correct washers for the table drive clevis rod end... too tight and it doesnt move.. well fit the right stuff and you tighten it as much as you like...

I tighten it until I can't turn it by hand then back it off slightly. Most of the time it will still turn when tight- no issues here with them. Also when it's apart I clean all the grease out of it then re lube when assembled.

Yes clean out all the old grease.. they seem to run just so much smoother...

                      Nasty grease!

But I will gladly take machine grease all over my hands than cooking grease- I just can't handle that stuff!

Oh come on guys why use clean grease? Dust and crap seems to hold the old grease together so much better?? should get 25 years out of a blob of grease, easy!!

I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

Left a rant about this in the bowling forum…

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
