As far as the spot procedure, i thought it was prety much the same as the 70s... isnt the 90xl basically a slightly modified 70 machine with a completely new wiring setup?
I had a chance to work on them once before and mechanically they are pretty much the same as a 70 machine
Giving bowlers less to complain about, one lane at a time
To do a respot of pin set ups in the same way you might do on 82-70's, first select which machine you are working with and then
put that machine in manual mode, make sure machine is on first ball cycle, push cycle and flip that machine circuit breaker off
directly as soon as sweep reaches first guard position. This will stop the table from starting. Set the pin set up you are needing
and after turn circuit breaker back on. Machine will complete cycle from that point.
Before leaving machine, remove it from manual mode.
Sweep reverse is done by putting that machine in manual mode and after clearly dead pins from pindeck, just push sweep rev.
button once and sweep will return to zero.
Before leaving machine, remove it from manual mode.
Which model 90 do you have? Some have the standard aluminium table and some have a steel table. Is the chassis the "small" silver 90xl chassis or the "large" chassis referred to as the "fatboy". Go to the Ace Mitchell site and find manuals to download. http://www.acemitchell.com/Default.a...es/amfmans.htm
It is hard to get used to turning a machine on manually to perform some tasks if it is already on. Also I have run extra ball frame lights up to the back of the curtain wall so that you can see which frame the machine is on. Just parallel them off the mask wiring.
Chose either odd or even, then hit manual mode. To go through a complete respot, spot, hit cycle... then cycle again. To just skip over and go straight to spot, hit ball step, then cycle.
If you're not sure what ball the machine is on, press and QUICKLY release the program zero button and that will ensure the machine is on the first ball.
You think you've got it bad, I went from 90s to 70s. You're wondering where the P S T switches are, I'm wondering why the hell they exist!
Good morning, I have built a tester for the MP Chassis for the 82-70 machines. Instead of using the cam switches I am using relays. My question is to anyone that may...
Is anyone running the solderless relays on the accelerators? How do you like them? What brand? How difficult to convert was it? Would love the feed back as I'm about to switch...
Working...
