  • sur pik relay

not sure where else to post this but I am needing to know where to find a relay for our sur-pik ball return up front.. It is an 11 pin relay.. Potter and Brumfield div. kr 29-6219
24V 50-60 Hz, part number 82-57-1229. It has the AMF logo on it, but not really sure where to find this part.. The ball return will not turn on when we start a game and it must be turned on manually.. Scoring system is not at fault.. I can tell its this part because it is arcing inside of the box when it turns on.. thanks for any help

If this sur-pick fails when either one or both lanes are turned on, and you get sparking, I'm assuming that you are getting an erratic start. Check to make sure that the plate inside the sur-pick chassis is secured on the bottom of the chassis with 4 #10 x 32 keps nuts. If not you will get an erratic ground that will cause false starts and it will also fail when a ball starts up the belt. I'd grab a relay from the next sur-pick for this troubleshoot. And then again, it could be the relay.

A MP Chassis Relay works in mine! Just a bit long.
MP Relay 070-005-515 I think this one is also cheaper! $9.36 6/20/02

First part number should be 070005515. It is the cross reference for the 2nd part number

MP Chassis relay works fine. I just put one of those in a bad ball return and worked like a charm
It only took two years and two new owners to finally be allowed to come in and work on lanes before we open........

If the socket is burned up there are extra pins that you can use. ( just for new guys)

                  MP Chassis Tester

                  Good morning,
