  • Mp Chassis

In need of some help. I have two mp chassis that won't run on the machines. First one its in the chassis i've switched out the mp board, the 3 cube relays, and have checked all the wires in the c1 plug. When you put it on the machine won't turn on.
The second one when you put it on the machine the backend starts but won't cycle, when you turn on the sweep you get a continuous sweep run, when you shut off the sweep and turn on the table you get a continuous table. Thanks for any help.

#1 Chassis check mask switch & plug, or Mgrs control Switch

#2 Chassis try a working Bd.

Both problems are in the chassis not the mask plug or the mgrs control and I'm positive that it's not the board.

        Check CB"s
#1 BE relay (old style) can be pushed in with a pencil to turn BE on.
        #2 T4 glass coils
        T3 Mask/Scoring
        T2 Mgrs Control Circuit/Spot

After reading you post, several times, I figure these chassis are not "Known Working", and they were on the "Other Bench" attached to the "Healing Wall". Been there, done that.

On both you could try a simple reset. This has worked for me many times.

On the first chassis you might try tracing the wires inside the chassis to make sure one or more of them are not nicked and finding a ground. Had a couple of those.

On the second chassis a reset might work, also I have used the ball stepper for a soft boot.

Swapping boards with known working is always a good call, as is cleaning the contacts of the boards, including and especially the grounds.

If you have the boards with the button batteries, change them! Those little buggers are a PITA sometimes.

          *sigh* Hello friends..

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
