  • Oil level in gearboxes

    Was tired of the oil plugs on the gear boxes getting striped out and having to take them off to just check oil level
    do it all RIGHT, do it all the FIRST TIME!!

                    Hmm sure looks sweet now and makes your yearly check a yawn, you can just put a hashmark on the tube with a marker. wonder how much trash you will get in there over 5 years though.

                      Good thought. Isn't the plug on the fill port supposed to a breather? Then heck you could just cap the sight tube.

                            Ya it has a breather port but no point in waisting extra money on caps for it.... Just made it longer so it wouldnt spill while handdling it... On the plus side draining the oil, just turn it down and set drain pan on lane....

                              Great idea.

                              Why does the sweep bracket look funny? Looks like a one piece bracket is bolted to a slider bracket that would be used on the other side of the sweep and then to the shock mount.
