  • Sweep intermittent stopping

I actually have 2 problems on 2 different lanes.
Problem 1: the sweep will run but then stops intermittently close to the pit and then will stop the table in the process. I have Changed motors, changed chassis, checked micro switches and oor safety switch. Machine does not do it all the time. What else can I look at to get the problem solved?
Why do people try to be someone else, because the person they are trying to be is already taken up.

If you can, swap out the switches, then set the machine for the 16 inch rule. It looks like you are going into IL.

Went back into this lane and Thought i had it but not yet Changed out motors and switches then adjusted and set it for cont cycle and it ran for 20 minutes without an issue. Put a customer on it and did the same thing within 6 frames.
Its not the motors, chassis, switches so what am i missing?

Is the sweep coasting and causing the interlock? (check mach. side c1 and motor plug.)

What ball cycle is it on and where exactly is the sweep crank arm when this happens? Might be an issue with the C2.

do you have any kind of infa-red triggering like a bowltronics ball detect that will cycle your machine? I have on most of my lanes and have found (after months of head bashing) that if the delay is set at just the right point as to where the ball detect and the cushon switch cycle the machine around the same time, it causes the sweep to have intermittent problems like overloads and unexplainable interlocks. Turning the delay up to max solved my issue

The sweep stops between the 4-5-6 and 7-8-9-10 rows and is not coasting from what I can see. I have no cushion ball detect switch. I have Zot ball detect. This is working correctly.

The sweep stops between the 4-5-6 and 7-8-9-10 rows ok. I think I found the problem. The two leads on the back of the oor switch was unplugged It did good all night. Hopefully this was it.
