  • "Tuffy" Air Exit

Does any one have info on this system?

    Questions

    1. Converting from kickers to air exit do I have to pull the ball lift and redrill the upper support and add the new lower pbl support?

    2. We have a 60 gallon 165 psi air compressor running the qubica auto bumpers on our 36 lane center (up and down with each bowlers name)
Will that compressor handle the extra load of the air exit system

    Thanks
    Dan

    To answer questions:
    1. You must install the lifter arm and re-drill the ball lift tube - this includes installing ball door rings and a new lift rod support bracket
    2. The install I have seen has a small compressor on each lane - I do not know if you can utilize a large compressor. The air lines are very small as I recall and ran in tight quarters for the paddle and lift arn

      Thanks King!
I was hoping to justify the extra cost of the system last check $1200 per pair vs mini pbl at $800 by not having to drill the side plates or drill the ball lift tube!
Maybe Jamie at Stalls will be kind enough to post the installation instructions for us. A video would be a huge plus
There is Zero info on the net about the system! I seen it one time years ago in Mermaid lanes in MN
      I really liked the concept!

FWIW - you havr to drill the ball lift tube for PBL or Humpback - takes 5 minutes

If your spacing between machines is narrow - Humpback is your best choice

I do not think drilling for the ratchet drive is a big deal

I like Humpbacks myself - many less moving parts

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
