Sometimes we have to do stuff to get by....Just go back and do it right when the "by" has passed!!

I really liked them. I got them from Bowltech (Complete Leisure, not this site!). They were a little sensitive getting set right but once they were on and coupled with the solid trip rod (instead of wire) and the lube free pinion gear from Bowling Vision I had super smooth indexing and one less part to need lubricating.

My last centre had all 22 lanes of the Embassy clutch (drum style). They were ok, squeaked a bit and left some dust (although you can now get a leather pad to replace the original pad that creates the dust). The spring also would stretch with time, but again, you could buy replacements or fit 2 of them. I preferred the roller clutch though as you could still adjust it like the original. Bowling Vision also stock the drum clutch as well as the spares for it.

Adapting the Bluffton end cap & terminal board kit to Franklin BE (and FE) motors.
Left a rant about this in the bowling forum…
I’ve already repaired a a number of Franklin FE motors using the Bluffton-style end cap and terminal board kit (090-004-582)....

Turret clutch rebuild
At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
Thanks...
