Is your issue electrical or mechanical

Is the gearbox locking up after it gets hot?

Whenever I had this problem it was the stator overheating and kicking out the klixon, but none of ours ran for half an hour, I don't think. If it does this consistently, though, you might replace the klixon to rule it out.

Hey guys i might have messed up on my Wording a bit.

The Motor is On the Work Bench not On the Machine.

So no Chassis pins To Check it is in the Motor itself its not over Heating its more Binding Up ON something . That is why i thought maybe could be the IB bearing

Stahl's rebuilds motors National, GE & Westinghouse. Just have to send them your motor before they repair and exchange.

If is sounds like it is grinding it could be one of two possibilities. One like you have stated the bearing cup is worn beyond repair on either side or both. Second the start switch is not cutting out at the proper time, thus it is trying to run at two different speeds.

I've had them after rebuilding, take a plastic or rubber hammer and bang the rotor end bearing ( stator off) up/down/left and right. It will loosen and set the brass bushing. It sounds like it binds after a few seconds and heat up.
