"Spaced Out" pair
I could have sworn there were pics on here somewhere of an installation of 82/70 or 90 machines in which the pair was spaced 4-5 feet apart due to a support column or something and the even lane had the ball lift/rudder but the odd lane had a GS style locking ball door and a short track to the PBL. Anybody remember this? I can't seem to find it anywhere.Tags: None

Yeah, that thread is pretty well buried now, but I remember the pictures!

Hilarious! I love that ball door. I don't know why I crack up every time I watch it.

I had 2 pairs seperated by support poles at my 2nd job in 1985 at Plaza Bowl in Arlington, Texas, with B's converted to C's. It was a wild setup on those 2 pairs, that not a bunch of folks saw apparently. Both pairs had a third kickback centered between the extra space with double rudders, double paddles and double ball lifts. The place had PBL at that time and I can remember wrangling with AMF on replacement parts for mirror image items for the lift arm pulley actuator and associated mirror image parts. Both pairs had double lift rod tracks meeting at a U shaped Y before the downramp. Ball wipes on those pairs, wasn't an option.
I wish I would have had the sense to take pictur4es of them years ago, but never did!!

I think Landmark Lanes, on the east side of Milwaukee might have a funky pair, too, but I can't remember.

4:1 Timing off..
*sigh* Hello friends..
I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

Adapting the Bluffton end cap & terminal board kit to Franklin BE (and FE) motors.
Left a rant about this in the bowling forum…
I’ve already repaired a a number of Franklin FE motors using the Bluffton-style end cap and terminal board kit (090-004-582)....

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
Thanks...
