  • 82-70 XLi EDGE Upgrade

Hello Everyone. I have uploaded a picture of our 82-70 XLi EDGE upgrades on lanes 1-8. We have 4 more lanes to install over the next couple of weeks. We tested one pair for about 3 months now. I was happy enough with the performance that I purchased the other 10 lanes to make the 12 XLi lanes now complete.

So far, so good. I would like to do another 6 lanes of the XLi/EDGE upgrade this summer, assuming the funds are available.

Special thanks to my technical team of Paul, Tom and Dwyane on installing 6 of them during the snowstorm last week.
I really enjoy the Simpsons. My problem is that I am starting to look like Homer. Doh!!!

Having been in the back at SVL - how are you going to swing the backend open to service the carpet?

      Looks great!

I have been n the back at SVL once my self this was 9 years ago. I was impressed with how clean and organised everything was. Even the pin room was clean. The floor s we so clean that it looked like you could eat off of them. Kudo to the staff at SVL for keeping the place going.

This is correct, the plows need to get over a couple of assemblies that are between the lift and the plows. More or less a tilt and lift operation.

I think it's 6 bolts and I can pick the elevator (with plows) and carry it to the shop on my shoulder.

I am using relays. My question is to anyone that may...

                              *sigh* Hello friends..

I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

Adapting the Bluffton end cap & terminal board kit to Franklin BE (and FE) motors.

Left a rant about this in the bowling forum…

I’ve already repaired a a number of Franklin FE motors using the Bluffton-style end cap and terminal board kit (090-004-582)....

                              Turret clutch rebuild

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.

                              Thanks...

Is anyone running the solderless relays on the accelerators? How do you like them? What brand? How difficult to convert was it? Would love the feed back as I'm about to switch...
