  • 8230 to Accuscore+ wiring diagram

Hey guys..I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I'm running 8230 machines (6525 chassis) with Accuscore+. The problem: On some of my machines I have lost the Respot Pins Only (rerack) function from the scoring pedestal as well as the function of the cycle button on the back control panel of the machine. I know the cycle button on the back is wired into the "R Box" on the machine, but I don't have a wiring diagram for the control wires from the curtain wall chassis "machine even, machine odd" outputs to the actual machine. Does anyone out there have this info and if so can you share some details with me?
    Thanks,
    Russ

    Russ,

Haven't worked on 30's for a while. But if my memory serves me correct, There is a little pc board mounted in your J-Strip that has a relay attached to it, that might be the culprit. It is required for the Accuscore but I don't know if it's needed for the plus. If you have an RPO box (It will have 2 AC and 2 DC relays) there is a diode, behide the DC relays, that is prone to blowing. Also possible that a DC and AC got switched or one is bad. Just a couple of starting points.

      hey russ

i know nothing about 30's. but when the rpo switch is lost on 70's its either the rpo relays as tech suggested, or the rpo wire running into the pinspotter chassis through the APS/Mask plug. I dont know if its similar on a 30 or not

          second time in a year?

did the center get flooded which caused the lanes to warp and feather? or just a bad job the first time?

Re: 8230 to Accuscore+ wiring diagram

There was a problem with the coats that were pulled in January. My lanes were peeling to the point that balls were throwing up wakes of coating as they were travelling down the lane.

              TECH:

Your post led me in the right direction. Thanks for the info. It was the "RPO/Power" board in the J-box that was bad.
              Thanks again for the help!
