  • rubber rivets

Does anyone else remember when rubber rivets
were two pieces? Really! The rubber rivet
used a seperate leather washer and then you
installed it in the usual manner.

    Re: rubber rivets

I used them as little as 3 years ago. Have not checked if they are still available. They were great for repairing those one piece cushions when the bolts pulled thru, and the cushion sagged, usually in the middle capturing the pins! I still have some left!!
I may not always be right, but I am never wrong.

I still use the rubber rivets, and they are also loads of fun to play-fight with. they really sting at close range.

          *sigh* Hello friends..

          Turret clutch rebuild

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.

          Thanks...
