HELP!!! I work in a 22 lane center in Spain. I am in desperate need of a tech manual in english. I contacted AMF in the states and they directed me to France who told me that they only had manuals in french, italian, spanish and german. (We get horrible support from them too BTW) I'v been on the job only 2 months and am the only bowler on the staff. The manual we have in Spanish is translated literally ie Deadwood is translated as arbol muerto (Dead tree). The definitions are not found in any dictionary. I'd certianly pay any costs incurred and I have an FPO address so shipping is minimal. (US Navy Retired, gulf war vet) Please help if you can and I will certianly pass along some of the funniest stories you can imagine about a bowling center run by people who don't have a clue about bowling! THanks

    Re: 82-90 XL

What I would suggest is you call amf, 1-800-dial-amf 8:30-4:30 pm est.
(342-5263) press 1 then 3 and ask for Carl or Leonard and explain to them that you need a manual. If you just talk to an operator they usually just give you any answer that will get you of the phone quicker. Good Luck and if this does not help let us know and I will be glad to order one and forward it too you.

Thanks so much, I'll give it a try when the timezones come into alignment. Interesting, I noticed you're from hammond, I'm originally from Elkhart. Small world, thanks again!
