  • Leap year problems???

    Hello all,

Anyone have any leap year problems???

We did. With scoring. All the Scorers
    decieded to continous warm start.

    The cure.

Compleate system shutdown, all computers, LIU, and all CWC.

When we brought the system back up, the back office computer showed March 1st. Reset front counter terminals to March 1st.

    Problem solved.

    What a day!!!!!

    Re: Leap year problems???

    Hey Doc
I had the same problem it started on one pair of lanes, so I warmm started the cwc at the desk. When I did that all hell broke loose, of course the date I used was 02-29-2000, which was a mistake. the whole system started to warm start on its own. What a mess in the middle of a full league. The only thing I could think of doing was a warm start, not using a date ( default april 1 ). This bailed me out for the night. In the morning I cold started everything, and tried the current date. My system would not accept the year 2000. To get the date right as far as day and date was concerned I used 01-mae-1972. That seems to have solved my problem. Obviously accuscore plus is not y2k compliant. At least it will run on the default setting.

      Re: Leap year problems???

RON YOU CAN GET Y2K UPDATE DISKS FROM AMF OR PERHAPS ANOTHER BOWL THAT HAS THEM. YOU SHOULD CHECK THAT YOU HAVE ALL THE DISCS THAT YOU NEED AS DIFFERENT BACK OFFICE PROGRAMS REQUIRE DIFFERENT DISKS. THE ONLY PROBLEM THAT I HAVE IS ON THE LEAGUE STANDING SHEET WHERE THE DATE IS RIGHT ON THE HEADING BUT IS ONE DAY OUT ON THE SCHEDULE.

Glad to see we weren't the only center with those problems. It had to be my league night too. Yeah! Another 16 hour day.
