    I HAVE AN 8270 THAT GETS POWER TO THE TABLE &
    POWER TO THE SWEEP BUT IT WILL NOT SWITCH AUTOMATICALLY!CAN ANY ONE OFFER SOME TIPS!

    Need more detail about your equipment:

    Auto Scoring? Brand?
    MP Chassis? SS Chassis?

    If MP Chassis, check your M1 relay. A bad M1 relay or socket will cause this problem.
    The purpose of the M1 relay is to heat up T1 (Transformer 1) which in turn allows power to the Sweep and Table Contactors (low voltage only 24V) If you can run the S & T contactors by hand, it sounds like no power getting to T1 or a failing M1. Might be also a broken line in your A&MC box, which allows for completed circuit to fire M1.

      i'll go with kat on that, definately m relay related, hated to ask a silly question, have you checked the fuses???
