the pictures posted of the removal where taken In March 2000.
you can learn a lot when you go to take the hole machine out. our to put it back in, you will run across things you have never seen or done before.
i thought some would find them interesting.
I Have some more if you wont i will see if i can get them posted

          Hey JEFF KUHNLE
Sorry but we did not put any machines in. the owner that i work for closed that center down. it did have a lot of history
it started out as a pin boy house.
and then they installed amf 8230 machines and then it was changed over to amf 8270 machines i was told that this center was one of the first to have automatic bowling machines in are area.

          Hey cjwkansas

I would be glad to send you some of the pictures that where taken when we pulled them machines i will try to get them to you as soon as i can

            Hey guys...the new AMF machine is on their website at <a href="http://www.amf.com" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.amf.com" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.amf.com" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.amf.com" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.amf.com" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.amf.com" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.amf.com" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.amf.com" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.amf.com" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.amf.com" target="_blank">http://www.amf.com</a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a></a>
They tell a lot about them! Pretty neat to see an AMF in pieces even though i'm a brunswick man! I'd like to see a Brunswick machine in pieces someday.

HATE TO HERE OF A HOUSE CLOSING
SOUNDS AS THOUGH THERE WAS SOME HISTORY IN THE PLACE.

MY HOUSE HAS SOME HISTORY ALSO.
OPENED IN 1941, STILL HAVE THE PINBOYS SIGNATURES ON TH E BACK WALL, LATER I BELEIVE HAD 82-30 MACHINES THEN 70s. THE PLACE WENT INTO RECEIVERSHIP AND CLOSED DOWN FOR A COUPLE YEARS AND THE AMFs WERE TAKEN OUT BY AMF. THE GENT WE BOUGHT FROM OPEN IT BACK UP AND PUT IN BRUNS As REBUILT, BUILT THE BUSINESS BACKUP DID ALOT OF RE-DECOR AND NOW WE OWN THE CENTER NOW ALMOST 2 YEARS. WE ARE THE 4th OWNER OF THE CENTER.

              P.S.
WITH ONLY 1 OAK TREE OUT FRONT.
              THERE USED TO BE 2.
WE ARE NOW REALLY TWIN OAKS LANES.

                Hey JEFF KUHNLE
the center that we closed had the same owner through out the History of the center.
he tells me that he had to have over 300 pinboys just to run the place for the year.and it only had 28 lanes.
he said that most of them where just passing through town, and the other half would work long enough to get a bottle of wine and then they wouldn't show up for a week or so. they where only paid .02 scents to.05 scents agame i don't know how they did it i really don't know how far . 05 scent went back then but you would think it had to pay bills for them to set up pins for a hole game.
and we thought are job gets ruff.
will that's just some of what i have been told about that center
