    Re: masking unit

    Felix,

I tried very hard to get parchment for our old ones. We just put in C-90. A printer in our area said he could do them but it would be expensive.

ALSO THANKS FOR THE WIRING ON THE CHASSIS PLUGS.

        Re: masking unit

Several of the parchments in our modV pinvisor MAGIC TRIANGLES are falling apart also. AMF is apathetic and refuses to produce more. For several years we have just hot glued the shredded tatters together but it is just a "band aid" and every time you take them apart the plastic gets a little weaker.
My boss thinks that you could find thin enough paper somewhere, set some bar glasses where the lights go and tape where the foul & strike lights go, spray it black, stick some stick-on numbers in and there you go. I think this would look very amateur and not work very well.
As for pin light holders, we have fashioned some out of thin sheets of aluminum (even cutting up a pop can would probably work)and putting it around the socket so that the aluminum strips stick out about 1" wider than the holes to create enough tension to hold them in. Eh...
As for me, I think I could go for some good "Magic Triangle" about now, but the owners of the magic triangles usually disagree unless they are fat, ugly and mental. You gotta do what you gotta do...

I have heard of people using colored plexiglass to replace the #'s for the pin lites. I believe you would just retain the 1 & 2 portion for the ball lites.

          Worn LBS Rudder Cams

Can worn LBS rudder cams be rehabilitated? Anyone tried?

The edges on these are rounded over, which I think is preventing them from maintaining a good latch when...

Back after 10 years with my mini lane

Hey guys! After building my lane 10 years ago I had to relocate for work and could not take my lane. It has been in storage ever since. I finally was able to bring it down...

82/90 table too low at home position and hanging low on back right side

I am currently having some issues with my lane 5. The table is too low at the home position. This is causing pins to completely fall out when they try to drop into the pin cups...

          The AMF dude

Saw this on the back of one of the machines at work. Looks like something you'd find in a box of Lego's, but it has the old amf triangle logo in the middle, just...
