Humpback / PBL benefits

After running some humpbacks for about a year and a half I think we have another benefit over kickers. With the ball door rings on both pbl and hump I believe it makes the carpets last much longer becausr the balls do not idle at the ball door nearly as much. What do you guys think ?

What is a humpback ??

I've never heard of it.
Is it something new or is it a nickname for something I use allready?

I think a kicker exit with a filler plate kit between the bounce boards would make a carpet last longer. If no filler plate kit I would lean towards the PBL because it surrenders easier to the ball and has a locking drive to drive out stray pins.

I know that in the past I have kind knocked the Hump Back system, not becaue of design but it's cost and being as new on the market as it is but I recently spoke to Life Long Product's and they informed me that the belt has a 10 year warrenty on the surface of the belt. That make's a big differance in accepting the cost!

Had our's in for just over a year now and - makes sense to me! Even better, the humpback lets you use short or worn carpets that may not perform well in other machines. Just another reason to love love the "humper"!
