Re: Century HVO Summit

I am not very fond on Century Products... I would stick with Brunswick Kegel... Have had a Phx for the last 8 years and until recently have had no problems with my lane machine...

Our center has had a summit for 6 months now, worked ok when first got it, now I think its a piece of junk. Leaves a strip of water at the foul line from pad. AMF says it is a design flaw they have to correct. Something with the front wheels not low enough to lane. They should of figured that out from the get go before shipping out. Just my 2 cents worth.

Re: Century HVO Summit

I have one....you must keep the machine perfectly clean or it will be inconsistant. Change the wicks every month, and own a lane tape reader. I wish I had a Phoenix wickless.

i think it works ok i have a phoenix at my other center and prefer the phoenix over the summit(plummet). my biggest gripe about the plummet is that it is built poorly. i've had 2 fuse holders, the power l.e.d., lid clamps and other stupid parts just break out of nowhere and two of the lids fell off. the screws didn't fall out the pop rivets that attach the lid to the shaft were gone it works ok but i would take a phoenix any day

MP Chassis Tester

Good morning,
I have built a tester for the MP Chassis for the 82-70 machines. Instead of using the cam switches
I am using relays. My question is to anyone that may...

4:1 Timing off..

*sigh* Hello friends..

I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

Adapting the Bluffton end cap & terminal board kit to Franklin BE (and FE) motors.

Left a rant about this in the bowling forum…

I’ve already repaired a a number of Franklin FE motors using the Bluffton-style end cap and terminal board kit (090-004-582)....

Turret clutch rebuild

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.

Thanks...

Is anyone running the solderless relays on the accelerators? How do you like them? What brand? How difficult to convert was it? Would love the feed back as I'm about to switch...
