No Spotting

Ok guys this one has got me stumped. I have a machine that will not spot pins. Sounds simple enough right? Well, I swap chassis...still no spotting. Test Bin switch...fine. Now here is the part that really gets me. I take the original chassis, pull out the XOP Board, put the old 5 boards back in and it works fine. I just can't figure out why it won't spot with the XOP Board. By the way, that board works fine on another machine. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

That's a good one! Could it be a C-1 pin that sometimes makes contact and sometimes does not?

I'd look at all the C-1 & C-2a pins & sockets, then the terminal strip on the XOP board. Clean with pencil eraser if corroded.

It's probably something else entirely. Good luck.

Thanks for the tips Chad. It turned out to be the TA1 and TA2 switches being out of adjustment. I have no idea why that would cause a no spotting problem. I just happened to pull on the TA2 switch and it spotted pins. So I moved the switch a little bit, and presto, spots pins every time!
