90 chassis?

does anybody know of anyone that works on the 90XL chassis aside from amf? we blew 5 of the due to an electrical storm and amf won't touch them. so i have been trying to find someone that can work on them. i would hate to end up throwing these away because of something stupid that blew on it....

My understanding is that Creative Technologies out of Arizona (Phoenix, I think) designs and builds all the Chassis products for AMF. I have dealt with them directly, but I can't find their phone number. You should be able to find it in about any trade publication.

When i had the same trouble with my chassis creative wanted to sell me new ones. Maybe you can be luckier. Look on the upgrade thread and i posted what i did to fix the logic boards.

You can try Bill Tutin at Creative Technology. I have always enjoyed doing business with him and they do have a direct replacement chassis for the 90xl. They do repair work and are pretty reasonable depending on the severity of the problem. I believe they may be in a fight with AMF though, but who isn't?
