We have a Qubica automatic scoring system, 82-70 machines with Omega-Tek MK-70 Omniboards in the chassis, and an MK-70EXP expander card to interface the automatic scoring. I have one machine that absolutely refuses to work right with this setup. When I install the expander board, I lose strike cycle, and the autoscorer will not control the machine for reset, short cycle (gutter or 7/10 pick-off), and 10th frame reset. I've replaced the T- and S- cam switches, the OS and bin switch, checked every adjustment possible at least twice, and it still doesn't work. I think I've ruled out the chassis and machine interface module, as they work fine when installed on a different machine. I'm welcoming any ideas outside of rewiring the entire machine... Any ideas?

Have you tried changing the cable from the Q-interface to the machine? -

do you have six boxes or f-boxes? i would try changing that with anothr pair of lanes. have you checked the pisetter peramiters? i have those go out all the time. just a thought.

(in reply to previous) I changed out the machine interface and cables from lanes 1-2 to lanes 7-8, and 7-8 has run with no problems...
The units we have are SIX boxes... no matter how I set them up (including copying the exact settings from a set of working machines). I watch the interface, and the MK70EXP shows standing pin calculations, the machine interface LED flashes red momentarily (data send), but it just seems like the machine just ignores the signals. The closest symptom I can describe it as is if an off-spot signal is sent to the chassis... but the OS switch and wire tests OK. I'm confuzed...
