Jimmy, what are you doing? Cleaning out your shop or going to retired mechanics yard sales.

I have seen that part before in my shop. Never could figure out where it went to. I'm assuming it goes to a 30's machine.

I know what that is!! Can't give the part #, but it is the inner bushing for the pinion for the distributor drive on a 70. This is the old style; I used to have 4 machines with these and 4 with the new three piece style. If you can, get the new style; I used to clean these damn things once a week . My vote; TRASH EM (if you can)!

It's the bronze pinion bushing for the earlier 70's dist. I still have one or two around on my machines. They work fine.

Your 30s must not be in very good shape King. Mine went pretty strong and they still out run most machines out in the real world. Incidently the part really is from a 70. I still use them on my old C models.

Yep, its the old style concentric bushing for the pinion. Part # 070-006-123. I never used one before and probably never will. I would have trashed them years ago, but they look so dammed weird in the parts drawer I just had to keep them.
