Why is the bearing support of the rear roller(#000-022-924, did surch the number for JJ)designed in a one mm(about1/16')half moon, instead of a completly round shaped thicker model ?

Re: still bored

I'll give it a shot.

Because when you put the drive belt on the rear roller shaft, the belt pulls the roller shaft up. Because some belts are not as stretched out as others each machine will have different pressure put on the rear roller. Therefore a round bearing support shaft would get premature wear causing more work for us wrenchers.

How about taking the round bearing support and making a coaster out of it to put a beer on it.

I could go for that idea.

its half moon for one main reason,,
so you can fit the roller in on an angle, iam sure most (all) techs cant move there m/c walls apart to get it out,
eg. see how hard it is to get bearing on the roller shaft when you have the shaft on an angle to the bearing, it impossable

Well that does look like a 6757, doesn't it?

Unsure if you mean that their conveyor system was developed by a former AMF guy or not...

If so, do you mean this guy?
