          Re: spares

Well, if the table is travelling all the way down on a respot, (as was said) check the spotting relay, check the latch & solenoid. Since you already changed the chassis with no effect, it's probably a mechanical problem in the front end. Pull a wire off the spot solenoid and cycle the machine several times... it should run continuous 1st ball movement of the table. If it drops to spot, you can pretty much rule out an electrical-related problem. Other than the stuff above, take a look at where 'table-zero' is landing on the hub. if it's too far out of tolerance, it can cause weird stuff to happen. Table zero is 355 degrees on the cam (quick check, your table should travel UP slightly before starting the downward run on spotting and respot) On the table drive hub, the leading edge of the block should be square with the rearward edge of it's notch in the hub.

Like Ex Mech said.....check the compression spring on the table drive. Sounds like it is broken or missing.

              Re: spares

On certain machines the roll pins are smaller than later models on the arm latch assembly or link.

The roll pins can break inside without you seeing or knowing it.A lot of times the compression spring will come out but not always. Make sure your latch assy. is 1/8 to 1/4 from the notch in the crank housing

your roll pin which goes through 070-008-321 or 070-008-322 is broken.
